Affectionately known as "The Bubble" on campus, the Grimshaw-Gudewicz Activity Center at Northfields is the hub of the university's highly successful 乌鸦娱乐 program and serves as a recreation area for the entire campus.
Built by Franklin Pierce students in the 1970s, this rustic building was first designed as a warming hut for students enjoying skiing and snow tubing. 上层是 comfortably furnished and equipped with a wood stove, high speed internet, cable TV 录像机和DVD /. Situated directly on the waterfront, the Boathouse emphasizes the use of Pearly Pond for recreational activities. During the academic year, it is used by the Adventure Recreation program to instruct and supervise the kayaking, canoeing and sailing programs.
